  • Assist participants in resolving issues or concerns related to their NDIS plans or services.

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Our role as a NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coach involves supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities to achieve their recovery goals and improve their overall well-being. Here are three key areas of work as NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coach:

Recovery Planning and Goal Setting
  • Collaborate with individuals to develop personalized recovery plans based on their strengths, needs, and aspirations.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the individual’s psychosocial challenges and recovery goals.
  • Establish achievable short-term and long-term goals that promote independence, social inclusion, and personal growth.
  • Monitor progress towards goals and adjust plans as necessary to support ongoing recovery.
Skill Development and Capacity Building
  • Provide practical support and coaching to enhance daily living skills, including self-care, social interaction, and problem-solving.
  • Facilitate access to education, vocational training, and employment opportunities that align with the individual’s interests and abilities.
  • Offer guidance on managing symptoms, coping with stress, and developing resilience.
  • Encourage participation in community activities and promote meaningful connections with peers and support networks.
Advocacy and Coordination of Services
  • Advocate for individuals’ rights and access to appropriate psychosocial supports within the NDIS framework.
  • Coordinate services and referrals to ensure comprehensive support across different domains (e.g., healthcare, housing, social services).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, social workers, and community organizations, to address complex needs.
